Exceptional property - the grounds and the rooms are just outstanding! The hostess Carine and her family are lovely, warm, welcoming people. They provided us with bikes so that we could explore the area - this was really helpful as we are not expert cyclists and do not travel with own bikes, but could still explore and see the surrounding areas, which was great. I’ve not seen many places that do this so it is an added bonus. Carine is really attentive to every detail and the property, the swimming pool and the grounds are immaculate. It was hard to say goodbye but we will be back!

My husband and I loved our stay at the Abbaye de Villelongue's chambres d'hotes. Although this historical Cisterncian abbey had been in ruins, it continues to be lovingly restored and maintained by the owners who live on-site. We marveled at the abbey's magnificent architecture, unique sculptures, serenity of the garden where fruit trees and some flowers were beginning to blossom and the colorful wisteria was in bloom. The rooms are located in the former monks' dormitory. Our room with its great garden view was uniquely decorated with antique furniture, pottery, gourds and was magical and romantic. The rooms are located in the former monks' dormitory. We were so comfortable there and slept very well. We enjoyed and appreciated the breakfast especially the homemade confiture (jam) and the delicious locally produced "brebis" (sheep) yogurt. We felt so special during our stay at the abbey with access to the grounds and garden whenever we wanted, its tranquility and location in the beautiful countryside. We enjoyed talking with the owners and were fortunate to meet their son and grandchild who were there for a visit. C'etait un sejour merveilleux!

We had a very pleasant stay at Neptune Wood, we got the little studio with its own entrance (although we booked a room, got an upgrade), which was very practical and cozy. The breakfast was super tasty and the hosts are very friendly. Would absolutely recommend, thank you very much! 😊

The studio was beautifully decorated and comfortable, about 15 mins drive from the major attraction at Carcassonne, the citadel where we went for site seeing and an Intermarché restaurant and gas station en route. All facilities existed for our short stay and needing to heat a basic meal and feed the dogs who were welcome. Congrats on superb decor and maximum use of space. The shower was large and works well.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were plenty of fans and AC too, which was appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. The street is very narrow, so you have to be quick unloading if you are coming by car, as other traffic cannot get past. We didn't find that a problem though, as it's not a particularly busy street. There is both free and paid parking nearby. The location was very convenient for all the restaurants on Place Carnot where we ate twice. Bakeries and supermarket also very close by. About a half an hour walk to the medieval city walls. It was quiet despite its central location. Host Serge was very helpful.

    A lovely warm welcome! The house is beautiful, spacious and had all of the comforts we needed. Good facilities, shops and restaurants in the village. Being on the train line between Toulouse and Carcassonne was a real bonus and allowed a break from driving. We wish we could have stayed for longer!
