Piece of paradise on earth. We stayed in the beautifully renovated family room. Bedroom with separate 'sitting area and bathroom'. We were the only guests that day. It was blissfully quiet. Myrtille will forever have a place in our hearts. My daughter and we instantly fell in love with the cat. We would love to come back here!!!

Absolutely lovely property. We very much enjoyed staying in this old castle. We can't even imagine how hard the upkeep of the property is for the caring couple that welcomed us. Dinner was amazing, the hosts were caring and lovely. It was a memorable stay, our first one ever in a space that oozes time that passed a long time ago. Ideal for writers and creative people. We loved being at Chateau de la Mothe and did not really want to leave. It is a beautiful place. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Our rooms were lovely and very modern inside. Mathilde was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. We needed a one page legal document printed so we could sign it and email it back to Australia. She did this for us quickly. The shower was great and the beds were comfortable. It had a washing machine and air conditioning.
