We had the pleasure of staying at Vila Mastiha in Komi, Chios. The house is walking distance from the beach and in close proximity to cafes and restaurants. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and checking in periodically to see if we needed anything. The location is ideal for beach lovers, with the beautiful Komi beach just a short walk away. It’s also a great base for exploring the south of Chios, with several picturesque villages and attractions nearby (such as the Mastic museum, Armolia, Pyrgi and Mesta). Overall, Vila Mastiha is a gem in Komi. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach holiday or a cozy retreat to explore Chios, this place is perfect.

Amazing! Took our breath away when we arrived. A beautiful traditional town house, expertly renovated with all mod-cons. Very friendly, helpful host, short walk to a fabulous main square. Pyrgi is one of the most amazing villages we’ve ever seen and it was so good to be right in the centre of it.

I liked the place very much because it was what I wanted to - a lovely quiet place with an exceptional view to the sea. It was super clean, the local beach very close. The studio itself is very spacious with a beautiful, very large terrace. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The air-conditioning was included in the price. I highly recommend this studio if you look for a quiet, peaceful surroundings.

We recently stayed at Toulipa Rooms with a group of 13 for an overnight visit, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. The rooms were well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, ensuring a comfortable stay. However, what truly sets this place apart is the host, Maria. She is, without a doubt, the best owner I've ever encountered—and I've traveled to over 40 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels. Maria manages the property with genuine heart and hospitality that is rare to find. We will definitely be returning. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

    A lovely family run hotel, amazing breakfast, helpful staff who assisted me in booking a boat to Türkiye. There was a big storm when we stayed and we felt comfortable, although the Wi-Fi was a bit weak in the bedrooms. A quiet corner of the island that is a great starting point for the mastic museum, villages of mesta ans Pyrgi and a wonderful beach nearby.

    The truth is that it is one of the best holidays, because of my stay in this hotel …near the sea and restaurants, and the historical village of pyrgi is ten minutes away from it, the village of mesta 20 minutes …., and most important of all, the hospitality and kindness that (Giorgos ) gave us … I advise everyone who wants to visit Chios to reside here
