Very nice and big flat. A bedroom and a big all in one kitchen, dining, and living room space and a very big terrace with a table and chairs - shaded from the sun and rain - and with a nice view. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of space for clothes. Plenty of seating place - sofa, table chairs. Plenty of plates, cups and glasses. I liked the location- a little away from the center of town - in a local residential area. It's a small house, 3 floors - one flat on each floor, I think. It's on the top floor. It was in a side street, very close to a big road going straight into town. Plenty of eating places/cafees/shops in the area. I liked the gyros/kebab place ('two brothers') for a fast meal and the big bakery/cafe next to it on the corner for a morning coffee and a cake. Very easy to get to the center of town. A straight road in - I guess about 1 km to the city walls and then 1 km more to the waterfront. Plenty of busses from a bus stop very close by (also to the bus station) if one didn't want to walk. No neighbour noise, no loud music from bars, and the traffic noise was less disturbing than I expected - I slept well with the door open. Very good contact with owner, always replied fast. Easy self check-in/check-out. Water, some local drink, and some cake/sweets left in the fridge.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Ammoudara. I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Crete.This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Murelo. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Murelo. Highly recommend!

The administrator was very pleasant. We could ask him any questions regarding accommodation or nearby activities and get a detailed answer. All our requests were satisfied and any occurred issues were resolved very quickly. There are all that you need near the hotel - bus stop with convenient buses to the town (3 min), beach (2 min), a lot of good restaurants with Greek cuisine (5-10 min), and grocery stores (ab. 5 min). The hotel has a dedicated beach zone with sun umbrellas and loungers (all free). Breakfast is good, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, sausages, eggs, an omelet, and delicious Greek yogurt - it was always enough to become well-fed. The room was always clean, cleaning was done every day.

Our stay at Nikolas Apartments was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a relaxing and charming design that made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, the host checked on us daily, offering help with anything we needed and providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and reliable car rentals. We couldn't have asked for better hospitality and would definitely recommend Nikolas Apartments to anyone visiting the area!

    The description of the place is precise! Authentic rural villa in the middle of olive grove with everything you need inside of it. Kitchen, fireplace, 5 different yards, a pool and more. The owner is living in a small house in the place and helps with everything you need. We were with 4 kids (0.4, 2, 5, 8) and had a great expirience!

    Good location, easy to find and not too far from the airport. Staff very friendly and helpful, food very good and excellent breakfast. Swimming pool was clean. Villa itself was clean as we're the surrounding gardens. Lovely view. Evening meal was nice and very good value. Georgia our host was great, best part of our stay.

    Lovely and clean, well decorated and equipped villa. Located in a quiet little village near Heraklion, you get to experience the true hospitality and kindness of the Cretan people and we felt like locals when we left. The rooms are well equipped and nicely decorated. The jacuzzi is relaxing and the pool is very refreshing. Our hosts were wonderful. For good food at great prices as well as great coffee.....go to the taverna across the road. A wonderful experience.

    Super quiet, comfortable and well appointed, well designed and maintained. George was a gracious and accommodating host, giving us a full tour, offering all required amenities, and was available at an instants notice when we managed to lock ourselves out the first day. The village is quaint, not far from Heraklion, and has an excellent park with serious Minoan ruins. The 3 huge brass pots you will see in the Heraklion archeological museum came from this site.
