Everything about this place is just so pleasant and nice - the staff, the vibe, the coffee, the common areas, the location. We’ve been travelling for a few weeks now and stayed in some really good places. But none of them have had everything on point - which this place have. Like not to an excessive degree. It’s just, for the amount of money you pay, it’s just worth as high a score as there is. And to give two examples of how forthcoming this place is: 1) we stayed an extra night at our previous location due to a storm, missing a night here - no need to pay for that; 2) we took the sunrise tour to Tikal, was able to still get the free breakfast when we came back AND could use all the facilities until our bus left in the evening. We were literally surprised several times of how much this place exceeded expectations.

Everything is new and modern - rooms are comfy and bathrooms are clean. Staff was super nice, we had great chats. The bar area is amazing, just in front of the lake, also a great place to work with good WiFi and lots of outlets around.

The room is really great to spend some time relaxing, it’s a 2min trip with the boat from Flores (10Q per trip). The pool is really appreciated with the heat and the hammock as well. Also the man who was present in the hotel was super helpful and really nice, he made our stay amazing a big thank you to him.

The bed was really comfortable, and everywhere was very clean. The staff were fantastic. They are all so friendly and helpful - they would get up early so that you could have breakfast if you were doing an early morning tour, they offered to lend you insect repellent and aloe etc. I was bitten by a Doctor Fly/Yellow Fly/Horse Fly on the island, and had a super strong reaction to it (only just finally fading 11 days later), and we weren't sure if I'd need a doctor. They kept checking in on me and offering me help, and the owner was particularly great. The free breakfast was pretty good.

Just loved the plant-covered terrace looking out over the water and the boats coming and going . Right outside the room and a great spot to chill out (and do your washing or listen to music or a podcast!)
