Ana and her husband Firman was so kind to offer to pick us up at the harbour, but it was unneccessary as I was with a friend, but still, the gesture was kind! During our stay, the staff was also super helpful. Recommended their Ijen sharing trip as it was economical and fantastic!

The owner is really nice and friendly! We got a welcoming drink and he served us baked bananas in the morning for our Ijen trip. He organises trips to the Ijen crater for a really cheap price! His friend drove us up to the starting point where a tour leader followed up to guide us to the crater. The accomodation is really serene in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are tiny 'houses' which each their own terrace and the terraces all have a natural wall of green to give you so privacy. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to be back someday

We LOVED everything!!! This was the best place we have stayed in. Right from the start when we asked about the possibility of an early check-in as our train arrived at 4.40am....we were invited to let ourselves in, sleep in the common area, use the toilet and shower and the pool, and order breakfast. The staff were the best! Nothing was too much trouble; the food was delicious, every attention to detail was considered inside and outside of the bungalows, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We were able to book a driver and guide for Baluran NP and a hike up the volcano. They were also super helpful too. The owners are so lovely and they obviously know how to employ great people. We will be telling our friends and fellow travellers to visit Didu's and we would also love to return too. Thank you so much to everyone. Didu's is absolutely THE BEST!

We had a great stay at Ndalem Mataram! The cabins were big and clean, comfortable beds, the garden was beautiful with a relaxed atmosphere and the staff was absolutely fantastic. There are some great restaurants in the neighborhood as well and it's a short walk into the more busy areas. Definitely the place to go if you are going to Banyuwangi or want to do the Ijen hike!

Amazing stay at Sans Borobudur! The staff were so lovely and friendly,we had good chats! They helped us organise things, and brought us our meals up to the room when required, which was a lovely touch. Always smiling, always happy to help, what a great place! Good location in a quiet area of Banyuwangi, easy for Grabs to find, great location for Ijen hike and all sorts. We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend this place! Thanks team! The friendliness of the family running this place is the stand out feature. On arrival Nino offered us dinner (for free), all harvested from the family farm and cooked by his mother. He also spent plenty of time with us, explaining about life there, and helped us arrange all our travel.
