great location not far from Monaghan town. very homely and welcoming. our host Liz was just fantastic. She’s a lovely person and has loads of knowledge of the local area.

I fell ill and the owners really looked after me.😅 They arranged medical care. They could not have been better. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast was adaptable from a full Irish to a glass of water. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Meadows again. I had a good sized double room on the ground floor just off the entrance hall. It had an elevated outlook over trees and fields, yet was a short walk into the centre of the town.

I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel, which is located in a very convenient place. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The room was clean, with a nice interior and thoughtful details. Delicious breakfasts made a pleasant impression. I really liked the hostess of the hotel and her attitude towards me as a guest, she was very friendly and kind. I felt like at home.
