His Mother lovingly prepares delicious local dishes, enjoyed around a fire in their home. Tushar sings like a heavenly god, with heart of bhakti. Aarti before dinner and classical devotional songs after. A professional classical singer who travels throughout India giving concerts, he graduated from the famous Benares University in Varanasi. A real treat! Tushar will also show you around his family's ancient temples and tend to your every need while in Dwarahat 'gateway to the gods'. Huge room, actually more like an apartment, with a fantastic view in a peaceful area outside Ranikhet. The home made food was wonderful, and Ashok is a fantastic host. You can visit his workplace and learn about the business working with local artisans to make food and clothing. Ashok is a very interesting and intelligent man, and his wife is very friendly and welcoming, I will definitely come back again.
