VINEHO was the most perfect experience. I was going to stay in Alba for 5 nights, but I decided to treat myself, and it was the best decision I could make. I was worried that my expectations were too high as I have Italian heritage, and I love Barolo wine, but VINEHO blew my expectations away! I was a solo traveller (in my early 30s), and even though I was the only guest for my whole stay, it was magnificent. Cristina was an extremely helpful, friendly, and hospitable host. She allowed me to check in early and responded to my WhatsApp messages within minutes. Each time I saw her, she had a glowing smile, and she happily chatted with me in our mix of English and Italian. Lucia, Cristina's daughter, was also very kind and sociable. Lucia was always present during breakfast. She made coffee and happily conversed with me about VINEHO, the vineyard, and life. I also had the pleasure of briefly meeting Lucia's nonna and nonno, who were both very happy and welcoming. The breakfast was a highlight - in addition to Lucia's warm pressence, there was delicious Italian food prepared by Lucia's nonna each morning, plus a range of fruit from the garden and other homemade cakes. Everything reminded me of my nonna's cooking. And if everything above isn't enough to convince you, the pool was magical, the views were stunning, the apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped... 10/10 I will return! Breakfast was more than fabulous. A full range of food, from beautiful breads to fruit, cheeses, pastries, meats and the most delicious jams. Comfortable bed in tastefully decorated room, with large bathroom. Park three steps from the door to the suite! But what mattered most to us was the lovely way we were treated by the owner, Beatrice. What a lovely person.

Mostly we loved our friendly host. We arrived early and we were able to drop our bags off which we really appreciated . We loved the location being right in town and a cafe very close for the morning coffee. A beautiful dinner at Rosso Barolo.

    The location in Barolo is perfect with a beautiful view over the vineyards and Barolo village. Very nice apartment and a very well equipped kitchen. The hosts also have the Osteria Rosso Barola in tge village (5 minutes walk). This is a very nice restaurant and the list of available barolo wines is endless 🥂😀! We very much enjoyed our stay and the food and wine

    It is a lovely, rustic country house filled with love, laughter and warmth. The breakfast was outstanding. It is situated outside of Barolo so you need a car to visit the many lovely villages. Or you can hike to the different villages. The Piedmonte area is magical.

    I had an unforgettable 5-night stay at the Rosa Gialla in late September. The apartment was spacious, cozy and very comfortable, with a balcony and a view of the quiet village and the peak of Monviso on the horizon. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The hospitality of Marina and Valentina and their family is fantastic. When I arrived I had no meal booked, and yet was invited to join the wine-tasting and gastronomic dinner that was about to begin at the Rosa Gialla. I wish I could give more points than 10 !

    Wonderful location in the middle of the vineyards. The owner offered a free wine tasting which was exceptional, we learned a lot (and bought a few bottles)! He recommended a local trufalao for truffle hunting which we enjoyed immensely. Lovely place, walking distance to the village of Barolo. Definitely would come again.

    Excellent location and very spacious room and terrace. Host Silvia was fantastic and gave us a tasting and tour of the family winery. A wonderful stay in a beautiful wine village! We will be back for sure!

    We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. We got a great breakfast.We felt like home. The owner was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. She booked two fantastic restaurant for us. We will definitely come back to villa Aurelj!
