Lovely guest house with incredibly friendly hostess! It is simple, yet love everything and every moment there! The lady who runs the guest house is extremely nice and helped me book the boat when my initial plan went wrong. I felt home and I also made good friends there. The airport and a supermarket are close by, just 5 minute walk. Free washing machine which is a plus after doing a hike. Will surely come back again!

Both of us enjoyed the stay there! The owners are very warm and all the equipments in the cabin are very nice. The overall environment provide a chill and relaxing vibe. I highly recommend this cabin to people who visit Yakushima!!

Daichan is very kind and willing to share a lot of interesting stories. He helped me getting around Yakushima Island and showed me the interesting spots. He has also been very reactive when my ferry got cancelled and I did not know what to do. The tent and the bed were very comfortable, which I wasn't really expecting! There are lots of pictures and documents scattered around the facilities which gives plenty of charm and personality to this place. I can not recommend it enough!

The little pension is run by a lovely grandma and grandpa. Very welcoming, even though there was a language barrier, as they do not speak English, we managed to get the point across via translation apps. They offer yummy breakfast and can prepare nice bento for you if you ask for it for lunch. The location is great, near the airport, however car is optimal for the best experience. The location of the pension is close to all of the main routes and key activities. We were staying in the private bathroom room and were happy with the facilities.
