Genuinely the best place I’ve ever stayed, the view of mt Fuji was incredible. Being able to see me fuji from bed. The food from the bbq was varied, high quality and a good amount. Breakfast was also delicious. The hot baths were great and the staff were very helpful and explained everything via google translate.

Wow wow wow! Where do I begin with this stay. We went in a bit blindly into this stay here and when we came here our minds where blown away. The room was amazing, the onsen so rejuvenating and the food was incredible. Mount View Hakone set the standard high! And we still compare other hotels/ryokans to them.

Absolutely everything. Even before the stay, the staff was polite and very helpful with everything, even a last minute change in the number of the group. They wait for you at the entrance, they send you off when you go. The service was impeccable and the food - nothing short of an amazing experience.

The most memorable hotel we had in Japan! Lovely traditional Japanese Ryokan, for an unforgettable experience. We loved the authentic room and futons, the beautiful and delicious Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Everything was so special. The private open air Onsen was a real treat, where the whole family could bathe together, which is not common in most onsens that are gender separated. Bus stop is a few minutes walking from thr ryokan. Would love to return!
