The accommodation and onsen (for private use) were superb! The owners were very friendly and offered to drive me from/to the Yudanaka train station as well as to/from the Monkey Forest free of charge. The street the onsen is on was very beautiful, close to other onsens (if needed), restaurants and bars, but at the same time, very quiet. I recommend this place very much!

The staff could not have been more lovely and helpful. The outdoor onsen was a great experience. They also made a delicious vegan breakfast for us which I'm missing greatly.

We stayed at Daymaruya Ryokan for one night and had a wonderful time! The owner of the Ryokan picked us up from the railway station, drove us to the snowmonkey park and was extremly nice! We were able to communicate with both owners in English, got keys for the onsen in the town and even our own Yukata to wear at the onsen! We reallly enjoyed to experience a tradtional Japan and spending time in your beautiful Ryokan. Thank you so much!

It provided a very authentic experience. The tatamis were really comfortable, the food was carefully prepared and the owner was very welcoming. He even checked online if the monkeys had come down at the Snow Monkey resort before we left for it, and he gave my kids a wonderful origami gift. The onsen is well kept and the yukatas were such a nice detail.

    The hosts and staff were unfailingly helpful, welcoming, gracious and considerate. The futons were more comfortable than others we have had. The ability to use the baths privately and the ease of access to them was marvelous. The food was delicious, interesting, beautiful and presented thoughtfully with true hospitality. So much wonderful food! We could not finish most meals. With a rental car, the location was a perfect balance of a quiet, relaxing village setting and good access to terrific sights for touring and exploring.
