Was greeted by the super friendly fellow Aussie Blair , who met us outside the property to show us around. I loved the blackboard in the kitchen that has info on local takeaways and food/ restaurants in the area . This property is in close proximity to the famous Edde Sands Beach and bars . Also minutes drive from the old souk in Byblos which is also the home of the Wax Museum . The property has gusto and feels like Home, spacious and great for families as there’s 2 bedrooms and three toilets . Kitchen with a great view for us who cook with a glass or two! Plenty of comfortable sitting space . On Sunday you may hear the chimes of the church bells next door ❤️

The location was excellent - close to the harbour, the public beach, the archeological site, the souls and restaurants. The three rooms have a comfortable communal setting area and drinking water. It’s clean and the beds are comfortable at a good price. The wifi was excellent. Miled, the manager, went above and beyond in helpfulness and concern. As a solo traveler it was ideal

What can I say about my stay at Damask Rose? Everything I write will not be enough. You have to see and experience it for yourself. Generally, I was delighted with my stay in the Damask Rose guest house! It is located in Jounieh, which is in a central part of Lebanon, making it a great starting point for trips. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet area, 500 m from the main road and has its own parking. It is close from here to attractions such as the Jeita Grotto and the Sanctuary Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. What should be stressed out in the context of contemporary problems present in Lebanon - 24/7 electricity and Wifi are provided. Where this place truly shines and becomes absolutely exceptional is through its owners - Hicham and Ana. Their hospitality, openness and willingness to help go beyond any rating scale. Hisham is a living encyclopedia and is always eager to help you to plan a trip, usually elevating it significantly through tips and local knowledge. The meals served were a feast for the senses. It was an honor and a great pleasure to be their guest at Damask Rose. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Such a beautifully converted family house, with a landscaped garden and lots of nice touches - including a fridge stocked with fruit and snacks on arrival. Wonderful to hear the family history and our room had books about the local area. The Bella Douma cafe is just down the road and offers really delicious manakeesh.

The location of Beit Wadih is excellent. The place is only a short drive uphill from the main coastal highway, yet quiet and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming, and only a phone call away should you need anything outside of hours. The room was well laid out, and clean.
