The space at 4 Seasons Holiday Home was amazing, it was a large house all rooms were spacious. The outside area where we spent much time was lovely, looking onto jungle trees. Mali was a wonderful host making sure our stay was comfortable. She gave us lots of information about the area and where we could go. Mali and her husband Janeke took us in their car to show us all the local restaurants and hotels in Ratnapura where we could eat. Even offered to take us to show the migrating birds settling on the phone wires in the evening, however we opted out as it was raining heavily. Mali is so kind and considerate we will not forget 4 Seasons Holiday Home this is where to stay while visiting Ratnapura and just a short walk to town.

The staff and the host were very friendly and easy going. We appreciates to stay in a local, down-to-earth place, where we could learn a lot about the history of the place and engage with the local community. We chose the place as it offered tours to sapphire mines, and it met oyr expextations!

We absolutely loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The owner Ratna and the staff are all amazing. They took us to visit a gem mine and also guides us in the gem market. We learned a lot about gems with them. The food was delicious. The rooms were really clean. The quality/ price ratio is really amazing. We will definitely be back here if we come back to this very interesting town.

OK, so this was certainly the most expensive accommodation of our trip but wow! The Kurunduketiya Private Rainforest Luxury Resort is a place like no other: embedded in the rainforest and a tough trek away from the nearest paved road the building is simply extraordinary. Raised on stilts with two huge bedrooms at either side enclosed on three sides by glass walls with an 'open air' living area in the middle this has got to be one of the most unusual holiday locations ever. Our group of four was looked after by the two wonderful managers who not only cooked and served the most delicious food morning and evening but heaved our heavy baggage from car to villa over challenging terrain, gave us insights into the amazing environment and its wild residents and even took us on a rain forest hike. The aquarium-like bedrooms (only you are inside looking out) are amazing. Uninterrupted views of the forest on three sides with the best shower ever - no curtains, no shutters just another huge window looking out on to forest and a tumbling stream! Below the building is a natural 'swimming pool' fed by spring water.

We were together with my daughter. Location is good, close to Adam's Peak. The view from the window is amazing. The room had everything you need, hot water, a comfortable mattress, a warm blanket, no noise from the road. The owner of the hotel is a very nice person, he will tell you everything and help you. Small tour with him was very interesting and beautiful. The food is delicious and fresh! if I come back again, i will stay only here.

In a central area of Adams Peak, Vegetable Garden House features sea views from the patio. The property has mountain and lake views, and is less than 1 km from Adam's Peak.

The Vegetable Garden is run by a family, all the food is vegetarian. I received a warm friendly welcome. The property is situated at the bottom of a slope with nice views to the one side. It felt very relaxed and the food was delicious. This is a great place to be of you wish to walk to the top of Sri Pada /Adam's Peak, being less than Km from the starting point, or even more important less than a km from the finish! Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served.

Situated 5 minutes walk to Adam's Peak in Nallathanniya, Queens Ark features free WiFi access and free private parking. Certain units feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day.

EVERYTHING! Nimal is very kind and is always there if you need something or you just want to talk, the room was very clean, we got a bigger room than what we reserved, location is super good for Adam’s peak (10 minutes walk), food is super good, good accommodation, … It’s the first time I gave a 10 to an accommodation, but it’s definitely worth it!
