What a gem! Not only was Dhulikel a pleasent surprise, so was the hotel! It was a beautiful house, with beautiful rooms and GREAT massage therapists. It was a short walk from the bus park.

Sila is a wonderful host, alongside being at the initiative of this beautiful community project of families hosting houses, managed by the women. Thanks to that project, you get to stay in local houses for such a fair price, good hygiene and comfort, fresh and local food, all that while sustaining the community economy! Love it!! And for anything, you can ask Sila, who will totally make her best to help you in whatever you need and within her possibilities (we arrived as a 11 people group, at last minute after a change of plans and she managed lodging, transports, local guide, restaurant booking -as it was a festival time- all within a couple of hours!!). Definately will go back next time we are in nepal. The family was really nice and welcoming my daughter played with their daughter sometimes. It is in a perfect location, for example if you ride the local bus for a little bit then you will end up in the city of nagarkot to do the panoramic hiking trail. Just a short walk from the home stay is the suspension bridge and if you walk just a little longer you will find a beautiful waterfall. One last thing, this is only an opinion, but they had a dog that my daughter really loved.
