This is an all inclusive option great to retreat from the city, rest after trekking or simply to learn more about the local way of life. I was mostly focusing on my online work (excellent wifi by the way) while staying here, but you can work on the farm with the family, go hiking around or to nearby towns. The homegrown and homemade food is amazing, nothing tastes better! The family is incredibly kind, they made me feel like home, accommodated my vegan diet and were teaching me more about Nepal and their culture.

What a gem! Not only was Dhulikel a pleasent surprise, so was the hotel! It was a beautiful house, with beautiful rooms and GREAT massage therapists. It was a short walk from the bus park.

The location is perfect to watch mountain ranges and the owner of the homestay is such a cool person. He is always there to help you with anything. I had a very great stay here exploring the street art of Dhulikhel village. And the complimentary breakfast was too good.

Sila is a wonderful host, alongside being at the initiative of this beautiful community project of families hosting houses, managed by the women. Thanks to that project, you get to stay in local houses for such a fair price, good hygiene and comfort, fresh and local food, all that while sustaining the community economy! Love it!! And for anything, you can ask Sila, who will totally make her best to help you in whatever you need and within her possibilities (we arrived as a 11 people group, at last minute after a change of plans and she managed lodging, transports, local guide, restaurant booking -as it was a festival time- all within a couple of hours!!).
