The owner was very friendly and helpful with information about the area, restaurants, etc. Our unit was very nicely designed and tastefully decorated with lots of extras (coffee, tea, cookies, drinks, etc., as well dishes, utensils and glasses; upon request, he brought us a microwave). There was a nice patio with a table and chairs. The property is across the street from the ocean and free street parking is conveniently located just outside the gate. Quiet location with lots of dining options nearby.

We loved the large comfortable bedroom/lounge, plenty of space to spread out and relax. The traditional decor gave the room enormous character and there were great views from the large windows. Each day's continental breakfast was a highlight with lots of choices and quality ingredients. We very much enjoyed talking each day over breakfast with Mike and Maree, giving us tips of places to go and aspects of NZ life. They certainly made us very welcome and extended their friendship to include us. The house is located in a lovely leafy neighborhood and close to the lovely city of Napier.

The Pool House was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented .It was extremely well equipped with some thoughtful things that showed Joanne takes pride and care of her place and also wants to provide a perfect stay for her guests . Bed was so comfortable and all the linen and towels etc good quality. The Pool area by the pool was also set up well which made it an inviting and relaxing place to chill . Joanne was lovely and welcomed us on arrival. She gave some great advice on things to do and where to go. Alan and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying there. We would happily stay there again on our travels.

Sally and Gavin are the sweetest hosts you could wish for. Very welcoming, we felt comfortable from the first moment. We had the pool room which has a nice view on the pool and is just in the middle of their beautiful garden. The breakfast is amazing from our point of view.     Very clean. Bed in the main bedroom was huge and very comfortable!! Daily housekeeping which was a huge plus and a bit unusual for a tourist park. Good selection of complimentary teas, coffees and hot chocolates. Villas were soundproofed and felt private even though you had neighbours all around you. Very good value for money.
