Sahara run by Julie and Mike is an excellent place to stay in Dunedin..they are such wonderful hosts and the location of the property is unmatched, especially if one has work at the university which is just one block walking distance away. The Loft in the historic building is beautifully and modernly furnished. The mix of raw materials and modern furniture and nice accessories give the flat a special charm. We felt very comfortable. Parking directly in front of the house was very convenient. The harbour view and view of the Kiwi Rail tracks were interesting. The city centre with its many historic buildings is within easy walking distance. Following the Street Art Trail is fun. Trips to the Otago Peninsula and Port Chalmers are worthwhile.

We absolutely loved our stay. We were greeted upon arrival and immediately felt welcomed and at home. The room was perfect and even had biscuits and lollies. The bed felt like a marshmallow and we even had our own balcony which overlooked the water. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was great. The house is centrally located and is super close to Larnachs Castle which we absolutely loved. We couldn’t recommend staying with Paul and Paulo more. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Dunedin!
