The room was very modern and very clean. Felt like a 5 star hotel. Everything you would need to feel like you were on a holiday with privacy. Rory was an excellent host who we felt genuinely cared about our stay in Whanganui. Thank you Rory. Will definitely book again at the Smith House.

It was worth staying here, very nice rooms. If you love classic but still modern, this is the place to be and sleep. Nice shower good beds (mattress was not too hard not to soft just perfect) I did love the classic lounge that was taking care off nice and tidy. You can have a nice walk outside. There are some funny (jersey) cows. Nice host very friendly

we had a fantastic stay. the hostess was extremely hospitable and friendly. Our stay looked very nice and cozy. We could see that there was time and love in it. In the morning before leaving, have a delicious breakfast and good tips! we definitely recommend this stay!

The novelty of it being an ex signal box, but also exceptionally clean and bright. Bathroom was great, loved the floor tiles. The bed was very comfortable, with lovely surroundings and gracious hosts.

A very exceptional place with probably the most beautiful garden in all of New Zealand. The hosts are just lovely and so amiable. We had a wonderful time with great breakfast in the morning for an excellent start into the day. A perfect b&b :)

It was really clean. Lovely kitchen and dinning area. So generous and kind reception with milk for teas and coffee. Amazingly situated near the beautiful beach. Microwave and fridge in the room too.❤️

    Amazing hosts that were so kind and accommodating. The kids loved the games room, ok mum and dad enjoyed it to!. The facilities were really well kept and clean. Our villa was amazing and served us well. The shower and kitchen blew us away at how good it was. The kids loved the playgrounds and the ice-cream machine. We will definitely be back in summer to experience the hot chip machine! And to experience the rest of what is to offer as we had limited time to experience the parks full facilities.
