Stayed at Pearl of Santa Fe for the second time and once again it was a great experience. The house is clean and private and the swimming area is beautiful. In addition to this the staff are extremely helpful. We got stranded on the island due to the typhoon meaning ferries were cancelled and Ging and her team (special mention to Michael) went out of their way to help us get home, checking details with the port and working out of hours to ensure we could leave as soon as possible. They also added an extra night at a discount to ensure we were not stranded without somewhere to stay. We will definitely be back again to stay here!

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. Staff were very attentive and a pleasure to talk to. The owners have well behaved and friendly dogs. Walkable to town 15mins and to the port 10 mins. Thank you for a pleasant stay. We will be back soon.

A warm and courteous welcome awaits travellers to the Maykenn Beach Resort. The food is exceptional, on a three night stay my wife and I were served freshly prepared evening meals not only based on local cuisine but also that of Thailand, China, Italy and even Sweden ! Breakfasts were also of a high standard again providing a wide range of options. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with quality bathroom fittings and a good shower. The private beach is kept pristine by daily beach combing, although it has to be said that early in the year the adjacent coastline suffers from seaweed and plastic debris brought in by the prevailing currents. At low tide the extensive tidal lagoons and sand bars provide for a great recreation, just strolling in crystal clear warm waters through meadows of sea grass, looking for exotic sea shells or watching the antics of the tiny blue sand crabs. If you are looking for a small quiet “out of town” retreat on Bantayan, with friendly staff look no further than the Maykenn Beach Resort. PS for a whistle stop tour of other delights on Bantayan the road tour is not to be missed.

This place was awesome. I really appreciate all the staff of Edsan Apartment as they are all approachable and helpful. You can stay at their place for long if you want. Great value for the location, staff service, and overall facility. The room was nicely decorated, as well as the bathroom. We were a group of 4 and had plenty of space in the room. The staff were very warm and helpful. It was just a 4 minute- walk to Kota Beach. Not having in-room dining or breakfast is not a problem because the restaurants are just a stone throw. Would gladly recommend to others. Great if you are a big group. They also have dorm rooms, or could just book the entire place.

Clean apartment with a good host and nice location, apartment is walking distance from the beach, close to restaurants, has cooking & bbq facilities, comfy bed, aircon and fan provided with smart tv which you can watch Netflix etc. We loved our stay and will be booking again when we return to bantayan 😀

I like the place that it's on the Beach shore. I could see the sunrise each morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. All my requests were granted and I was able to give my mum an advanced birthday celebration with their help in terms of setting up the table using their own kitchen utensils even though we were cooking our own food. They also cooked our Scallops that we bought, we just provided them with all the ingredients. It's a perfect location but requires a bit of improvement when it comes to facilities.
