Our stay at Chalet Sofija totally exceeded our expectations (which are quite high), from the moment we arrived till the moment we had to leave. First of all, the location of the chalet is out of this world, with views that take your breath away from every angle you look, whether from the room, while enjoying a nice dip in the infinity pool or eating breakfast or dinner from the terrace. The photos do not do it justice, it is unbelievable how beautiful this place is. Secondly and not less important, the hospitality of the hosts, Pop and Aleksandra together with the Manageress Alenka was exceptional throughout our stay and they went out of their way to make us feel at home and that is how we felt during the whole of our stay there. To top it up, the food was expertly prepared and was one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered, exceeding the level of many Michelin star restaurants we have dined at. Pop’s innovative cooking presented us with amazing and delicious dishes with a twist, not only for dinner but also for breakfast. He also served us with very good Slovenian wines that went really well with the dishes served. And, if this was not enough, the room was huge, exquisitely and modernly decorated but perfectly fit with the surrounding nature and offered panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and forest, with a huge terrace from where we could enjoy this beautiful nature up close. I don’t think we will ever find an accommodation in Slovenia that comes even close to what we experienced at Chalet Sofija.

Everything! Location, atmosphere, cozy apartment with all you need. Upper level of accommodation in the heart of Kranjska Gora, maybe the best of all you can choose. Host was fast and kind of all of our requests, professional and on the high level. Whole house is decorated with perfect details and you have a true winter feeling walking around. We had absolutely wonderful stay in the apartment! It was perfectly clean, well equipped, with amazing balcony, nice view on the hills, parking place.. nothing was missing :) Close to the supermarket and butchers, but in very silent area. Contactless check in, with clear instructions.

The best apartment ever! Super clean, everything looks new, highly equiped with everything needed, including excellent kitchen,laundry machine and dryer... super nice and private. The accommodation facility is in a perfect location, very close to the winter sports center, nestled in pristine natural beauty right next to the flowing Sava River. The owner, Ms. Mojca, is a dedicated businesswoman who helps her guests with everything and is passionate about her work. Beautiful accommodation, clean, comfortable, with everything you need for a longer stay. There is nothing to complain about, the lovely owner, who even welcomed us with domestic eggs. Covered parking space as a bonus, I highly recommend it especially for longer but also short stays.
