It’s a very nice little hostel conveniently located very close to the swimming/diving/climbing areas. Very clean. The staff is exceptionally nice and friendly.

The room is simple but perfect for the price, The shower is separated and all nice. The breakfast consist of a warm sandwich and a fantastic 'Italian style' coffee. The owner is a super nice person, she cares a lot. Very relaxed stay

We stayed in Mudan because we had rented our own car and thought it would be a good base for exploring the surrounding area, e.g. Shifen, Fulong, etc. And it was perfect for that, everything is close by but Mudan is so quiet and peaceful. We ate dinner in Shuangxi both nights, which is a 10 minute drive away. The host is lovely, and his English is perfectly fine for instructions and for some conversation.

Amazing stay. The room is very spacious, especially when you think we're in Jiufen. The view is breathtaking, a few minutes away from the old street and the Mount Keelung trail! The area is just great to relax and soak in the atmosphere. The breakfast (warm soy milk or coffee and sandwiches) was great too! There is free parking which is a luxury in Jiufen!

Staff was WONDERFUL. So helpful, kind, and accommodating. They were always available to give us helpful tips and directions and even assisted us getting settled into an uber when we departed. The property itself is perfectly located. Just a minute walk from the bus stop and less than five minutes from the the Old Street. You feel like you're right in the heart of the neighborhood, but in a quiet and peaceful spot just away from the crowds. We chose a room with a sea view and it is exactly as beautiful as you've seen in photos. The room itself was a perfect size with a cool, industrial design. We were there on a particularly cold and rainy couple of days, but the bed was so warm and cozy to snuggle into. Breakfast was simple, well-balanced, and filling and our hostess was kind enough to make me something separate to accommodate a vegetarian diet. Be mindful that there are stairs, but nothing too taxing.

Serve of a little welcome drink and biscuit when arriving, good staff service. (And it was raining when we arrived so she even made us take off our shoes and put them to dry for us so they would be dry by the time we needed them back.) Braekfast and braekf1stroom were both a nice experience. The room.was small but verry comfortable and clean. All together a really good experience.
