Villa Unaweza is a dream place, where you can relax and there is everything you need - great food, coctails, cold shower, pool, beach few steps away. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, always clean. People working there are friendly with the smile on their face. The owners also made us feel at home. We really enjoyed our 7night stay at Kiganja. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. With just 8 rooms it felt very relaxed at all times. The beach is just at the other side of the road. The pool and the pool area was a nice place to relax. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. Georgia helped with arranging transfers, and referred us to the local Dive School. Good to see the focus on sustainability. Breakfast was a nice combo of fresh fruit, home made cakes and, fresh juice, coffee and eggs/crepes made upon request. The visiting bush babies every evening were a joy! We had a great time here. Thanks for having us!!

Absolutely Everything!! Paulette our host was more than superb. Nhema attended to our every desire. We cannot rate this villa highly enough. We stayed over Christmas as all the reviews said the food was amazing, and we can only say it was way beyond our expectations!! We celebrated with a performance from the masai and then the most wonderful 5 course Christmas Dinner that we will never forget. Company and food was just so special. Our rooms were so tastefully decorated and had everything that you may have forgotten to pack. Hotel was always spotless. Staff were so polite and efficient. Swimming pool was perfect too as the beach can get busy. All l can say is that if you are looking to stay here, you will leave with happy memories and a promise to come back. Paulette and your team...a huge THANK YOU.

Beautiful beachfront vila. The staff were wonderful - helpful and happy 😃 One night, the resident chef served us a great meal. The next, we went next door to Matuki Beach Restaurant. It seemed sketchy at first, but the food was fabulous & very reasonable.

Our stay at Matemwe Ocean View Villas was perfect, we enjoy it to the end. The villa’s location is great and only few minutes walk to the beach where you can have view of Mnemba Island. If you are looking for an adventure, the only thing which you need is to get in touch with Ney or Alusin. They have connections for any activity you wish. They arrange a Mnemba island tour for us. What’s more, Ney arranged a private appointment for me to have African braid hair style, the hair stylists came to our villa garden. The garden is beautiful and the villa has big living room, a kitchen and is decorated in African style. Large, clean pool boost our mood in the mornings. Ney and Alusin are very friendly, we enjoyed talking with them a lot. And we we’re lucky enough to have a chance to have their home-made lunch. The breakfast is just delicious with good choice of fresh fruits. We will definitely come back here anytime we visited Zanzibar.

    Lovely clean villa with a real holiday feel. The manager Iman is a real gentleman and super helpful. All the staff are vey polite and do a great job. The nearby beach is amazing where you can get snorkeling excursions or rent jet skis and other water sports items. The beach is a 10 to15 minutes walk from the villas

    The staff was amazing (thank you Adil, Jenny and Lucy) and helpful, the villa and view are beautiful, it’s in a quiet area which was great after 2 weeks in Paje/Jambiani. The breakfast is really good and the chef cooked for us what we wanted every evening. We loved every bit of our stay

    Lovely hotel on the very long Matemwe beach. A short stroll to the sand and village. The room was very comfortable . All the staff and owner were really friendly and there's a nice pool for a dip.
