The Patrician is a unique place. You need to have a car to get there, but once you are there, you have an incredible view and very quiet and safe surroundings. Most important about The Patrician is TJ, the owner. He runs this place with love and dedication, is always there if you need support, prepares a wonderful breakfast, and is one of the best hosts we have ever experienced!

The location is excellent — only a 10-minute walk from metro. Despite being close to city center, the place feels like a peaceful and cozy oasis. The house is very charming, and the host was friendly and welcoming. Everything we needed was available, and our stay was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Maddalena is a wonderful host! Very nice, well organized. The property has a beautiful garden and patio, excellent for reading, bird watchig and dolce far niente. We had our aunt with us (96 years old) who also loved the place. We enjoyed eating outside in the patio. A very well-stocked kitchen, we even made cookies... Shops, bakeries, restaurants are in walking distance. We highly recommend Vince's Market, 3250 Silver Lake Blvd, a small grocery store in the neighborhood, they also have good meat for tacos, for avocados ask at the store checkout.
