The owner/attendant is a very kind person. He answered all our questions and helped us with directions to where we could catch a local bus to the waterfalls. He even directed us to the best non pork restaurants in town. The accommodation is the best we were able to cook breakfast for ourselves in their well equipped kitchen.

The food was really nice and the room was clean and spacious. The garden in the back it's really nice if you wanna be calm. There is space to park your motorbike. The lady owner was extremely sweet and helpful. Also the free washing machine and detergent are a big plus. Thank you very much!

The hosts are really nice and got to have dinner with the family. We talked through Google translate. The food was really good and they catered to my diet (vegetarian). It's a little hard to find the exact house but just ask a local and they'll tell you where to go. The room is simple with a comfortable firm bed and fan. There are 3 toilet/shower rooms just outside the house. Try to bring exact change for payment

Truong, the owner and manager of Mina Homestay, kindly picked me up from the centre of Cao Bang, after a long hard bus journey. Mina Homestay is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cao Bang. I only stayed for one night as I wanted to visit Ban Dioc Waterfalls. For me it was no problem at all to walk to and from the centre. If you're going to stay longer, it would be a good idea to rent a bicycle, so you'll be able to move around more freely. Regarding the room itself, it was spacious enough, clean, comfortable bed and with bathroom attached. Truong, booked a bus back to Hanoi for me and even gave me a lift to the main road and wait for the minibus pickup to take me to the bus station of Cao Bang. If I ever visit Cao Bang again, even though it's just outside the centre, Mina Homestay is the tranquil place I want to stay in.

The property had a fantastic location because you could see the city, but it felt like you were in the countryside. It was nice to come back to this after a long day. Everything you need you have here including a kitchen with a fridge and a living room. The host is absolutely lovely, he helped us so much during our stay. Amongst other things, he found and booked us a bus to Ha Giang which we weren’t able to find online. We will be recommending this homestay to other friends who visit Cao Bang!
