Everything was very well-kept and cozy, a very comfortable bed with an electric blanket. Very pleasant in the winter! We had a wonderful short stay.

We had such a great stay at this amazing guest farm. It is clear that Gudrun & Johann, together with their team of friendly staff members, run Dusk to Dawn with a lot of love. We have nothing but the best to say about the warm welcome we received here and would definitely love to return one day. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the view over the farmland hills is stunning, and the breakfast was easily the most delicious one I had in South Africa! Another thing we enjoyed in particular was the variety of pre-cooked frozen meals available at the farm shop, which made for an excellent dinner option after long days of adventuring and exploring in the Piet Retief area. Felt right at home straight away, Coleen and Brian are wonderful guest and welcomed me very warmly. I wish I had more time to discover more about their essential oils production processes and explore the farm. But I’ll definitely come back with more time.
