It has an excellent location and the owners were extremely friendly and cooperative with special requests. We ended up hiring a car and driver from them to move around the sights at a reasonable price. They provided us with lots of advice based on their local knowledge. The bonus was a washer in the room. Clothes could be dried easily with the hangers by the window. I will likely return to this city next year and if so, I will be staying at the same exact place.

We are travelling all of Asia and there were many good stays but this one was the best, not only because of value of money and the amenities as well as the location within the ancient town of Lijiang, but also the people. The room was big and clean. The people were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with places to visit and also with the trip to Shangri-La. During the stay we were able to leave our language that we didnt need at the place for the two days away . We also were picked up at the train station and also got a lift to the airport afterwards. Laundry was done free of charge, we always got a tee. It was a very pleasant stay, we felt at home, which is true for all places in China during our one month trip. Xiexie
