What a great place! Ideal location- step out the door into the pedestrian zone. I stayed in a large, private room with 2 King beds, with bathroom and A/C. Bed very comfy. Very clean! A large bathroom sink; I appreciated having a fridge...all the coffee I could drink, and hot water for tea (at the reception). The room was very quiet overall - I did not need earplugs! (there will always be a certain level of noise anywhere you stay in Latin/South America in my experience). The receptionist was always "a pendiente". Highly recommend!

We loved Sintropia. Staying there was a unique experience. We got a comfortable cabana with an amazing view from the mountain to the sea and above the clouds, waking up with the birds singing. The cabana was spacious and comfy. The personnel was extremely nice, planning and guiding activities and hikes (walk in the jungle where you can see the plantations, the view, waterfalls, monkeys and more). You can get all your meals there and the food was really good and affordable. It feels really special, peaceful and remote (with good internet though :)) - which is amazing if this is what you are looking for. The link they share in advance explains very well activities available and how to get there: 30 min by jeep from Minca center plus a 10 min hike, which is definitely worth it; the lodge helps with the suitcases and bags.

This recently renovated luxury tent is located 22 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum and 23 km from Santa Marta Cathedral. Guests can use the spa facilities and the wellness packages, or enjoy garden views. This was our favourite stay in Colombia. A beautiful setting, clean and comfortable accommodation, good breakfast and a great pizzeria next door, owned by the same family… just perfect. We stayed in the larger ‘tent’ and it was great to have the extra space for bags etc, but both options looked lovely. The owner was very helpful in arranging us mototaxis into the centre of Minca, but we also walked on other occasions and it wasn’t too far - 30 minutes. We loved going to the cascada escondida nearby, and even the river which was even closer on the same route was great for a quick dip!

Couldn't ask for anything better than what it was offered to us. Staff is super nice and helpful, the rooms were great and the view was amazing ! I loved and aspects of our staying, I'm just sad I couldn't stay longer. They even have Starlink 🙌

Nice location, perfect to come down and chill. The hostel is pretty nice and not to expensive. It is locaded near to Poza Encanto and totally worth the walk. I really liked it. A kitchen would be nice though, but the restaurant offers tasty meals and the staff is super lovely 😊

The outdoor patio/bar was really nice. The hosts, Pilar and Jorge treated us like family and it was a very nice environment to relax. The beach was very close and so were some restaurants and grocery stores. Large, comfy bed in the room with air conditioning, as well as a balcony.

Each unit comes with a terrace, a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. A fridge and kitchenware are also featured, as well as a coffee machine. At the holiday home, all units include bed linen and towels. It's probably the best place to stay you can find in/around Minca! Leon is the most attentive (english speaking) host, making sure you have everthing you need and Alex and his brother live close by and can help if needed. The two cabins are perfect and equipped with everthing you can think of, from shampoo & conditioner (!), hot water, games, binoculars, books, flashlights, strong fans in every room, a generator (if electricity goes out like when we wete there) to Netflix and not one, but two strong Wifi-networks. Additionally the balcony is pretty big and has a fantastic view and you even have a view point a bit further up, where you can watch sunsets or Santa Marta at night.

Ramon was such a reliant and helpful host and even took us to the top of the place to look at mountains. The location was perfect, about a 15 minute walk to the entrance of PNT and a very local part of town. Also it’s beautiful there with lots of birds and pets as well. Breakfast included was appreciated! Would definitely stay again to hang out with Lola the parrot!
