Dila, the host, was exceptional and so kind hearted that it taught me so much during my short 3 days there. It is a nice quiet location, and you can tell that Dila has put her all into making sure the guests have an amazing time. She is always there to answer questions and do everything she can to make you comfortable. She cooks a delicious breakfast with her sister, and likes to take her guests around Padang and show them beautiful things like the clear blue river deep in the village. Stuff you would never find on your own. She even noticed I liked crystals and rocks and showed me a crystal shop I would not have been aware of. I will always cherish my stay here.

Al and his family were accommodating and the Indonesian quisine was a mixture of amazing dishes that varied each day of our trip. The boat you can hire for surf trips is also great, being spacious, and even better that it is solely used for your own private group to use each day. I cannot recommend this property enough and cannot wait to come back to Mentawai balcony again.

It is situated 21 km from Hatta Palace and offers a shared kitchen. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Very nice family running the guest house. They come to pick us up at the airport despite our plane being delayed. Room was as it's showed on the picture. There is a small kitchen where you can refill your drinking water. They took us to Bukittingi the next day and showed us around. I would definitely come back !
