We arrived in Pizzo on the last (or second-to-last) day of our trip through Calabria, so unfortunately we only stayed for one night. I say unfortunately because, first of all, Pizzo is a truly charming town and worth staying longer, and secondly because the hotel was genuinely excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight home wasn’t until late in the evening, but we were allowed to stay by the pool and in the garden the entire day without any issues. They also arranged transportation to the airport and even let us check out a bit later than usual—all of this despite only staying one night. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced. They serve drinks and food throughout the day in their lovely garden. The location is close enough to both the town center and the beach. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here.

Residence Porto Ulisse is surrounded by tropical gardens on the west coast of Calabria. It offers a rooftop terrace with bar, a swimming pool and a small hydromassage pool overlooking Tropea and the Mediterranean Sea. We liked everything. They even had a very good breakfast with a good selection of food. The staff were all friendly and the management was exceptional especially Aldo. Thanks for making our stay an enjoyable one. Location was perfect. Tropea Centre near the monastery was only 20 mins by walk if you prefer walking. But we had the car since this residence provided parking which was a blessing. Will surely return if we decide to visit Tropea again.

The apartment was spot less, very cozy and all the amenities were as described. The host was also very responsive to all our questions.

Our flight was delayed so we arrived at 11pm without dinner. The host did everything he can to assist us. He first phoned the nearby pizzeria but they are closed. Then he went to the kitchen and provided boiled eggs and some fruite to us which was really nice! The room is small but equipped with everything you need. Pool is a plus! I recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to spend their holidays in lamezia!

There isnt an option with a 12 otherwise i would give it to the hosts. They are just amazing, caring and preparing you a fresh breakfast everyday. The beaches around Capo Vaticano are a dream - ask them about the unknown ones - and this place is absolutlly great to enjoy them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tropea. My spacious room featured a balcony perfect for sun-drying laundry, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom met all my needs. What made my experience truly memorable was the thoughtful, flexible hospitality. The hosts accommodated my schedule, picking me up at the train station on arrival and dropping me off at departure. They even gave me a helpful tour of the town, showing me how to navigate the area efficiently. The nearby beach was easily accessible via a short flight of stairs, and the town center was just a pleasant walk away. Overall, between the convenient location, comfortable room, and friendly support, my stay was absolutely delightful.
