You can also rent bikes to go around the island and explore. His mom cooked delicious breakfast and dinner for us, and it was the best food we've had 😊 I highly recommend Tommy's place because you can really feel the love he has put to build it. Loved the place and Tony is a fantastic host that cares about guests having the best of their time while in Jaffna. Location was perfect, 50mts from the bus stop, in a quite area in front of a gorgeous park and a very short walk or bike ride from restaurants and the city centre and fort. Tony and his partner were super helpful with any matter or question I had. They helped me arrange a bicycle to go around town, a tuktuk tour of the northern side of the peninsula, and find good dining spots. Breakfast was good, based on local foods - they even made it take away on my last day as I had an early bus. I had a private bathroom, which was perfectly clean and the shower was great. Although my room was in the ground floor, I never had any issues with noise coming from common areas.

These varied each day and were delicious . The guest house was comfortable. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

This property is super clean, it shines .!The proprietor is helpful and he allowed us to leave bags in our room when we we went on a trip to delft island, basically he gave us the rooms free for that extra night as he was quiet at the beginning of the season in Jaffna , he is a kind relaxed gentleman, he is not doing food at the moment but he provided a good kitchen with microwave , kettle and fully stocked with cutlery and crockery in his beautiful home apartment, the apartment had a huge terrace balcony for relaxing. The property is situated on a quiet residential street but only a 10 minute walk to a main street with supermarket and places to buy ready food. In my opinion, everything was perfect.
