Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. beautiful location with a great terras with an amazing view! the people are super helpful and very kind and happy. the rooms are perfect! we loved staying at zoni homestay and the food was delicious. we wanted to do the hike to the ta xua peak and they provided us with information and helped us to get to the access with the motorbike taxi (you could also rent the motor bike yourself). perfect stay and amazing experience.

Yien is a great host and is so informative on the Hmong way of life so you can learn a lot. Also his sister is an amazing chef and cooked some of the best food I had in Vietnam.

There is so much beautiful wildlife and I’m never seen so many butterflies in my life! We ended up staying for a couple of extra days. We stayed 6 days in total. Giang helped us organise a bus to the Homestay from Hanoi and helped us organise our return back. The rooms were very clean! We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake. Giang offered to organise easy rider tours and treks. We were served an amazing spread of locally sourced food each night and happy water every night. We had fresh shrimp, duck, pumpkin, chicken, banana’s and watermelon. We ate every meal at the Homestay. Giangs family were so kind and hospitable during our stay. We hope to come back again. Staying with Giangs family was the highlight of our trip. We also are big cat lovers and enjoyed all the cuddles from Be and Thom!

Xoi Farmstay is an excellent way to experience the beauty of Yen Bai and Lam Thuong without any tourists. The surroundings are magical, the staff is very welcoming, and the rooms are very unique and comfortable individually built stilt houses.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The homestay has family rooms. Host is pretty friendly but doesn’t speak any English (but it’s ok we used google translate) :). There’s a pretty nice sitting/chilling area at the back with a very nice view. Beds are a bit hard in the dorm but it’s like everywhere else around here. They can cook good food for you. They offer basically just the one meal for dinner (meat, tofu, eggs and rice with some greens) and for breakfast (ramen noodles with an egg). Dinner is very affordable (50k) and breakfast is included. The building is right next to the road, so there’s a bit of road noises but nothing that disturbed my sleep. Loved this homestay! :)
