The hotel is brand new. I like the room with big windows and mountain views and a balcony. The room is spacious, beautiful and cozy. Spa area is a nice place to relax after skiing. Breakfasts have big variety of food, we didn’t need more. Service is great, people are hospitable.

The two ladies at breakfast were so pleasant and made every effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Made waking up a pleasure. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had at any hotel. The lakeside lounge area was also special. The rooftop spa area was tastefully done with views over the lake and mountains, although a 2pm opening time for the sauna felt overly restrictive.

Amazing location and our host Jesse was very attentive and helpful. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you could think of and was beautifully decorated. We were there for one night but could stay longer. Will be returning back to the same property in summer. Sauna facility was amazing and kids loved it!

    This was our second time visiting das Urgestein. Some of my favorite things are the host, the beautiful location, and all the new amenities (whirlpool, sauna, and kids playground). What surprised me this time was the new ‘tech’. We were able to fill the whirlpool from the comfort of our apartment (super cool).
