This place? Absolute stunner! From the outside the cabin looks modest, but once you open the door… BOOM – modern interior, everything you could possibly need, and even a wine fridge stocked with amazing local bottles at such good prices you’ll forget supermarkets exist. 🍷 Location? 100% TOP. You park literally right next to the cabin – no dragging bags uphill, no sweating like at boot camp. Just unload, shut the trunk, and vacation mode is ON. There’s a grocery store just a short walk away, and endless vineyards around you that look like they were made for postcards. Honestly, you won’t need your car again until check-out. Now for the highlights: Some people might worry about the train line you see in the pictures. Don’t. In three nights, I heard it once. Just once! 😂 The bed? Incredible. I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels that should take notes. And the blackout curtains? Next level – total darkness. Funny enough, that’s something even luxury hotels often miss, but here it was perfect. And then… the air conditioning. In Austria, that’s rare. Here it was – and it was a total WOW moment. Coming from the army, I’m used to strict order and cleanliness – and here everything was spotless, well thought-out, and simply perfect. And the outdoor fire pit? Pure magic. We sat by the fire in the evening, watching the monastery lights in the distance, with a few drops of rain adding drama. If Netflix made a movie called ‘The Perfect Austrian Evening,’ this would be it. Overall? 10/10. I’d move in tomorrow if I could.
