This is a truly lovely and unique spot in the lovely little village of Daintree. Our comfortable room overlooked the Daintree river so we had front row seats for bird watching and views to the lovely scenery. The outdoor shared kitchen with table to dine overlooking the river is an added bonus. Michael the host is super friendly and keen to share ideas to view wildlife etc. Incredible seeing all those flying foxes on the tree by the property. This was a very special place we will not forget.

This is one of the most impressive places I have ever stayed. We were four adults and two little kids staying in the Lodge House, and we were all so amazed by this place. This is a very beatuiful wood house literally in the middle of a very dense and breathtaking rainforest. We were completely isolated from the rest of the houses and from the whole world. It really seems like you are in another planet. And a beatiful one indeed. Additionally, there are awesome walks starting directly from the house and nice creek also there to have a bath. Amazing place.

Such an incredible location, a stones throw from the beach. We booked the 2 small bungalows for 3 people. Unfortunately the weather was terrible but we made the most of it. Jodie was super helpful and such a friendly woman. The bungalows were great, all the amenities you need and very clean. Beds also very comfy. Thank you Dean and Jodie - we will be back!

The host really was the best! She told us all about the local cassowary that was popping by daily to snack on the fruits (unfortunately we weren't at the accommodation at the times it passed by). The lodge is in the middle of the rainforest making this a unique experience.
