From the minute we got there the staff and owner were very attentive, pleasant and immediately made us feel very comfortable. Showed us our rooms and explained the layout and where everything was. The service at dinner was excellent and the food was super. My Favorite was the sticky date pudding, which was excellent. I must add that this was my first visit to the hotel and knew no one, but left with a feeling that we had made a bunch of new friends. Even the chef came out to the lounge bar for a drink and had a chat. I told them that if I'm in the area I will drop in, even if it is to just have a drink.

Exquisitely renovated beautiful old house with all the modern brand new comforts that you can imagine. Very upscale and beautifully decorated rooms. Honestly an amazing spot and so close to town. The owners of the property go above and beyond with their little extras. This is the place to stay when you go to Clunes! Food wise the local butcher was so close I was able to have a fresh steak dinner of local food and also be sure to go to the The Clunes Greengrocer for an amazing coffee.
