The unit was very clean and comfortable. The bar has a country feel and great atmosphere, the beer garden is very relaxing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was 10/10 fast service. We will be back

The decor was gorgeous, rustic & quirky but practical and very comfortable. A very relaxing spot to enjoy nature - birds, bees, sheep and a huge pig! Host Jenny was absolutely lovely too. Bonus that we could leave our trailer parked up there safely while going out to Northam.

So we actually stayed in Le Var not the Gate House. We loved the grounds, the history, the peace and serenity and our cute room with the very generous, modern ensuite.

    Very comfy old country cottage that is well laid out. Very clean and everything we needed for cooking breakfast and dinner was in the cupboards. Location on the main street at the end of town made the cottage a great location to be able to walk to town centre. Also the cottage had a huge back yard going right down to the river. The cottage is also located next to the Newcastle Park and the foot bridge over the river.
