The hotel is incredible spacious inside, while the outside has a nice walking path around a large pond with trees. Being in the mountains there are plenty of trees and no traffic noise at all. For those concerned about shops/other food options etc, there is a small shop selling snacks (chips/noodles/drinks etc) directly opposite the conference end of the hotel. Staff are great, as was Jo who spoke English very well and greeted us the moment we arrived and gave us information we needed. There are some activities to try, we just played some table tennis which is set up in a really nice room with big glass windows on one side for a really great view. A staff member saw us playing, came in and left 2 water bottles for us! Great service! The balconies are huge, with a long couch and a single seater to move around, and a small round table. We were roughly in the middle of the hotel with the lake view, which faced directly towards the sunset, which made for a great view every evening. We had room service dinner twice, which was really good. There's a map they can provide of the surrounding area to give you an idea of what is there, but it's an illustration style map that is not accurate. It just highlights the main buildings and sights to see. So if you try to follow the roads on the map it will be very confusing! So happy to have found this hotel. We stayed for 6 nights.

Simple, clean, with a hint of subtle class. Jessi Fang at the reception was exceptional; always available and proactive in helping out with inquiries and solutions. She saved us a trip downtown by helping us book our exit flights to Guangzhou at a great discount. She even helped book my wife’s onward flight to Berlin painstakingly and without fuss. Her colleague, Evan Song was also very helpful and kind with a smile. Breakfast (included in our booking) was pretty standard with a generous helping of fruit, cereal, baked goods and Chinese cuisine (didn’t have an issue with the choices because I enjoy Chinese food). Dinner at the restaurant was also affordable, and we were usually over-filled. The concierge and Aayi (didn’t catch their names) at the restaurant were also helpful. All together, we really enjoyed our stay here, and will repeat next time we’re in Chongqing.

Omg! What can I say about this spectacular place! From the first moment you arrive the owner makes you feel at home, he is one of the nicest and most beautiful people I have ever met, he and his wife make this place really feel like home, the bathrooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable and with curtains for privacy, they do laundry service, but there is also a space to wash clothes by hand, all products are included, it has a large kitchen where they make fresh bread every afternoon and you can have it for your breakfasts. The owner has prepared a guide with tourist places, restaurants, activities and a map with all the necessary information to explore the city, I was quite surprised because it is done in great detail and because I always organize trips, I know that doing something like this takes a lot of time so I appreciate it very much. I want to thank in a special and personal way the owner of this establishment for helping me to know the Flying kiss, it was a destination that I dreamed of knowing all my life and without his help I would not have been able to get there. It has made me very very happy and I will always keep it in my memory. This hostel goes beyond just offering a hosting service, so 10 points are not enough to value it 🥲 I hope to come back soon, a big hug and greetings.

An awesome spot with a Japanese vibe – I truly felt like I had stepped into the world of Kung Fu Panda! Even the Japanese-style toilet was a unique experience. I absolutely loved their cozy little bar, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the center, with everything super easy to reach.

The Host and his family were very helpful and kind. The location of this place is amazing for those of you who want to relax and learn more about traditional Chongqing life style. The host invited all the guests for a Mid-Autumn Festival dinner cooked by him and his family. Just 10 mins walk, for me, from subway station line 6. The Apartment by itself is a symbol of tradition and modern designs. I would definitely come back to stay.
