This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. The property was well equipped even with filter water for us to take. The twin room was cosy and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and the options of activities was great. Jeremy took us on a tour of three different places in the area and we learned so much about the local history, super interesting. Would highly recommend :)

Great location, right in the heart of Salento. Small hostel with only 2 rooms on the first floor of a little café. Nice simple and clean room with a private bathroom and a little balcony. Gratty and his family were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful! Gratty has so much knowledge about the area and many recommendations, he made for a perfect stay. Breakfast was served in the cafe on the ground floor, lovely home cooked food. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The owners obviously put a lot of love and care in the apartment. Everything you need and more they've taken care of. The apartment is nicely decorated and is clean. As an extra they have coffee from the area that you can use in the coffee machine. Really enjoyed our stay here!

The hotel is very well located at the edge of Salento. There is few noise, but it ends around 21.30 pm. The apartment is clean and spacious, the kitchen is well equipped. The best plus is for the owner, which is very nice and helps you with everything you need. He arranged for us a transfer at the airport at 3 am. We highly recommend this aparthotel, we wish we could have stayed more.
