Pura Vista Glamping was a great find and place to spend the night. Wendy and Roger were super helpful in helping us find a place to eat and in suggesting things to do while we were there. High recommend the Essence Arenal Jungle Night Tour right across the street from Pura Vista. It was an exceptional 90-minute tour with Aurelio. The photo was the view from our little dome deck

It was such a delight to wake up every morning to a view of the lake and Mt. Arenal! The room was perfectly situated and the view was spectacular. We had breakfast included every morning and it was alway delicious and the food was so fresh...huge portions and coffee refills included. We also ate dinner there every night as it was easy and we didn't have to drive anywhere. The menu had enough variety that we were very satisfied with our choices of evening meals. The soup Azteca and Caprese salad were both delicious! The birdwatching from the balcony of our room was wonderful...we saw several new species including a reoccurring nightjar that came every night to the road next to us. Also saw lots of hummingbirds and other species in the shrubs and trees around the property. It was a wonderful place to get away and close to the volcano park and Mistico as well as several hot springs.

The story of the owners is amazing. You can feel the passion which they put in creating the Nepenthe. The view from the apartment and from the pool is amazing. From there we visit La fortuna, Hot springs and Arenal 1968. It is very peaceful place to stay.

Just stay here. Friendly host. Great view. Spacious room, including bath spa. Received an upgrade at no extra cost, which was greatly appreciated. The property really is just metres outside the Sky Adventure Park, not the entrance down below, as the directions are somewhat vague.

It's a wonder to have such a "private" place in the hyper-touristic El Arenal Volcano area. Just imagine waking up surrounded by colibri and with majestic volcano in front of you. All enjoyed from the comfort of your bed OR hiking the private trails. The owner and his staff are caring for you and fulfil all your needs and wishes. Making sure you enjoy your stay to the fullest.     This is a fantastic bungalow that offers great views of volcano Arenal and the lake. The location is great as it is outside of a quiet village and very tranquil. The bungalow is large and conveniently furnished. The owners are very friendly. We enjoyed the daily breakfast on the big terrace of the restaurant. There are several breakfast options and the Costa Rican breakfast was sensational. We would definitely book this place again. There are small shops and restaurants in the surrounding area.

    Location was beautiful. We had room right next to road which was noisy. I would recommend silicone ear plugs or stay in one of the tents or at back of property . Property had great walks , garden, wildlife and spa. Offered much more than I remembered. Food was exceptional was farm to table. Was soooo relaxing ♥️

    Such an incredible location! We were in Room 2, at the top of the hill that the property is on, next to the pool, with a beautiful view over Lake Arenal and some of the volcano. There was so much wildlife all around - we loved watching the hummingbirds in the hedge near the pool. The restaurant on site served simple but delicious breakfasts and dinners. Our room and bathroom were big and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A great place to stay!
