We recently stayed in this beautiful and well-equipped apartment in the perfect location in Freiburg, and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tom, who handed us the keys and gave us a tour of the apartment, making us feel right at home. The place was clean, and the highlight was the terrace with a wonderful jacuzzi and amazing views, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Tom was very helpful, providing us with restaurant recommendations and taking the time to show us the nearby parking garage. We were fortunate to borrow a parking permit from him, which made our stay even more convenient and we payed half the price with the permit. As we had an electric car, it was a huge plus that we could easily charge it in the garage. Our stay was fantastic, and we would love to return to this apartment in the future. Highly recommended!

The apartment is gorgeous! Tom greeted us and explained everything to us. He was extremely helpful and even came to us at 11pm to help us with the jacuzzi. The apartment was super comfortable, close to the train station and they helped us with where to park. There were also supermarkets really close by. There is parking available but it is a state parking lot and a bit expensive. Still we were so happy to have a host like Tom as he was extremely nice and super super helpful!!!

Outstanding. Highly recommended. Location is made up of several apartments which are spacious and exceptionally well-built (under-floor heating, triple-glazing, remote-controlled blinds and Velux), with lovely views over to the Black Forest. Furnishings are functional but fully equipped with plenty of available spares. From the outset Frau Simon was helpful and informative, but never intrusive, and gave us a most warm welcome. Tiengen is a typical rural village (bakery, restaurant, petrol station) c.14 kms. from Freiburg. It’s an ideal location to explore the nearby Kaiserstuhl and both the Black Forest (D) and Vosges (F). Freiburg is within easy reach by car (to Park & Rides) or by public transport (v. frequent buses from Tiengen which connect up with the tram network). The town of Colmar is c 35 kms away and always worth a visit.

Friendly homeowners, and a quiet and refreshing place surrounded by neat accommodation Black Forest. The accommodation was warm and bright with a lot of windows everywhere, and the view was so good because it was a forest around it. And it was very clean like a new house. The bed was king-sized, ample storage space for storing clothes, a neat toilet, a large TV and a comfortable sofa, so I could relax. I cooked at home for three days and had an oven, microwave, toaster and drip coffee machine for cooking, so it was like staying at my house. There is also a small terrace space outside the house. The house was so good that we chose to stay at home rather than go out.

    Superb location, right in the heart of Freiburg old town and steps away from the cathedral. Very friendly staff both at check-in and at the included breakfast, which is self-service and of good quality. Nice coffee and a range of continental options. The room had its own shower, and the toilet was shared but always accessible and kept very clean. An older style hotel, but comfortable and great value for money - especially considering the ideal location. Would definitely return.

    very clean, modern, affordable hotel. the rooms are small and similar to cabins in ships. no cupboards in the room but a table to sit on and some well designed shelving on the walls. the staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good. the location was in a newly built area of Freiburg (Gueterbahnhof) but reached the tram to the center (4 min walking distance, drive about 5-10 min to centre). There is an underground parking lot in the same building but if this is full you should be able to park outside on the road.
