A lot of restaurants are within walking distance and supermarkets REWE and Lidl offer numerous choices for cooking and local food. The KD cruise on Rhein is a must do ! The huge, luxuriously appointed apartment is well located within 15 walk to the town centre and main train station. The host, Birgit met us to settle us in. Everything we needed for our stay was provided - lovely, comfortable bed, bathtub and separate shower, modern furnishings in living room and well equipped kitchen with full sized fridge and brand new coffee machine. There is even a view of the Rhine river from the living room and balcony. We were even given a bottle of wine and provided with free local train and bus tickets that we took to Koblenz.
