The location was very lovely and quiet. The help of the staff in reception(Asmaa, Rewan, Mahmoud and all the others were very friendly and helpful in everything) was very important. The breakfast was very good! A very nice experience at Cairo.

The staff was great (Badr, Karim, Disha, Shiko, Mido), really went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room is comfortable, especially the bed and the breakfast was plenty and very good. Amazing value for money right in the centre of my favourite neighbourhood.

This was my first hostel experience and turned out to be the most memorable of my entire life.. The host Doaa and Mustafa welcomed me so warm heartedly and friendly.. whilst i checked-in the place is so enlightening and full of life and peace.. Their breakfast was the most delicious food I've had in my entire stay in Egypt for the past 6 months.. Great place to socialize with people across the world.. Never seen anything cleaner in the country.. There's so much more I'm out of words to explain but man.. Be there and you will feel it and even better too..

My stay at Layla has been wonderful. They put the bar above for a hostel stay. Location is quite, convenient to walk to Tahrir square in 10 min and there re groceries, a local market, restaurants nearby. The bed was very comfortable, everything was seamlessly clean, you have all the complimentary of teas and coffees at the kitchen. Hot water, very clean bathrooms and showers there were. I was offered a free breakfast and an earlier check in on an early morning arrival. The owners are super friendly, kind, helping and generous. The design of the place is beautiful with balconies, library and a spacious lounge to hang out. A must stay! Most hostels in Cairo doesn’t reflect the originality of their places on photos but Layla is exactly the same at what you see online. I ll be back.
