Tai Evi homestay was the highlight of our trip to the Yasawa islands and we wish we could've stayed for longer. It is basic accommodation but perfect for what we needed and we stayed right in the village with Silo's family. The food was delicious. There is lots to do - we saw the manta rays in the manta ray passage which is a boat trip away as well as amazing reef. The beach is also nice with some good coral as well. It was also the 1st year anniversary of the homestay whilst we were there so we had a BBQ with the family and all the guests and we helped with some of the preparation of the food. However, the highlight for us was the company and people that we met here :)

Staying with Silo and Bill was a pleasure. We were welcomed into the family immediately, playing rugby with their sons and cousins throughout our stay on both the beach and local rugby pitch. Food made by the family was excellent throughout whilst you don’t get bored of things to do as the whole village embraces you and encourages you to join/help with daily activities

Tai Evi is set in Soso. Among the facilities at this property are a housekeeping service and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property.

The most amazing tropical island you can think off, welcoming family (Emily, Seru and team were amazing!), nice bonfires, and always kind guests to chat with! We had an amazing time ar Wai Makare! Just be mindful, if you want a luxurious resort with constant internet and electricity and warm water for your shower, this might not be the place for you. However, if you want to enjoy the real Fiji, its Beauty and its kind people… this is the place for you!

We had an exceptional stay at Paradise Cove Resort, certainly one of the best we've ever experienced. The place is a real haven of peace: calm, relaxing and surrounded by breathtaking nature. The resort also offers a wide variety of activities. And what about the food? It's simply delicious, with fresh and tasty dishes. The team was simply fantastic. Warm, attentive and always ready to listen, they showed great professionalism, particularly in taking care of my numerous food allergies. Really friendly staff, plenty of activities. There could be a half board option, as three big meals per day is way too much. The food was really good though, better than Octopus resort, but the beach on Octopus is nicer. The small hike up the hill is very nice and the cave trip is a definite must!!
