This is an extremely well appointed property and we had a wonderful welcome and great conversations. The temperature outside was 36°, but the room was cool and extremely comfortable. There is a lovely sofa and chairs on the first floor sitting area outside the room as well. We had an excellent dinner which was very good value, and a good ambiance. Breakfast was comprehensive, and the bread was fresh from the boulangerie (not the reheated version!). We went for a walk in the extensive grounds and there is very good private parking.

The name sums it up!! A wonderfully quiet rural oasis. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, kitchen well equipped, and the owners June and Les were very friendly and helpful. There is an excellent pool for relaxation and cooling off.

Very friendly host, in a quiet location. Clean & comfortable accommodation. Lovely breakfast in host’s main dining kitchen with company of her cats & dogs, which made us feel very much at home. We would definitely return again.

The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything you would need to cook if you wish to. Lovely bakery around the corner within a minutes walk, so there is no need to cook if you do not want to. Also, it's very quiet.

Me and my friend had a very pleasant stay. The hosts Melissa and Paul were absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. Unfortunately we were there for just one night since we only stopped to rest on our way to south France The small town is quiet but very pittoreske.

    If you like quirky places stay here! The Chateau is unique and well kept by the owner. The food was home cooked and tasty. The location was brilliant for a stopover on our trip on to the Dordogne.
