Position is excellent, in upper part of city and an easy walk to centre and cathedral. Quiet street. On Saturdays in summer they close off a section of the old town for festivities till 1am. Maison Seraphine is just far enough away not to hear the noise. Pierre is an excellent host Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and you could squeeze your own fresh orange juice; Pierre even produced scrambled egg. The house is old and quaint but our room was comfortable and spacious with a good walk in shower. There does not seem to be a problem with parking right outside. We came by train. Take a #4 bus from the station and get off at St Martin, only 1.20 euro. Laon is well worth the visit with relatively few tourists. The cathedral is magnificent, must be one of the finest in France. Some good restaurants and if you want a lighter meal, try a platter from the Fromagerie des Remparts.

It was a perfect stop off for us for one night enroute to Calais. It was spacious and comfortable and had a lockable gate to the private parking. Good facilities for self catering and for a family of 5. Our youngest children liked the bunk beds.

    The location was easy to find, not far from the motorway & on a hot summer's evening the air-conditioning in our room & access to the pool - privatized just for us for an hour on our arrival - was wonderful.     The host was very welcoming and helpful. We only stayed for one night, we enjoyed a swim in the pool and jog in the forest next morning. It’s located in a picturesque contryside location and short drive from Laon. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
