A very comfortable gite with everything that you need. A lovely location, very convenient to visiting many of the First World War memorials. We were only staying for 1 night this time but we are hoping to return to stay for longer.

Château de Contay Guesthouse – 1753 is the nicest place I have stayed. It is a truly beautiful château, with access to many lovely rooms to relax and read in, as well as beautiful grounds to walk through. The château’s history makes it even more interesting. Nicolas was excellent in responding to emails, and Anne was so welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed and that we enjoyed a good breakfast. We would love to visit again – it was really magical.

This is a beautiful property in a handy location for visiting the Somme. Our room was surprisingly large! The room and bathroom were spotless and there was all you could need including a hospitality tray. The continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Parking is in a large enclosed space right outside the front door.
