Large elegant comfortable rooms, great for a family, welcomed by the host who made sure we had everything we needed, very clean with lots of pillows, blankets and towels. Loved the old world character with all the modern conveniences. Be aware of typical winding stone staircase to get to upper floor. Highly recommend.

We had great communication from Gwendoline prior to our arrival and the entire family were here to welcome us when we arrived. Gwendoline and her husband showed us around their property and it was clear how much work has gone into the house and grounds and just how passionate they are to make sure their guests feel at home and can take advantage of everything they have lovingly created. The house has a lovely clean spacious feel, everything feels brand new (it only debuted in May 2024) and each room is beautifully decorated and finished with fresh fragrances to greet you. The kitchen has everything you need and there’s lots of cupboard items and essentials to hand. A large fridge freezer means you can stock up on local produce and not need to go shopping too often. The lounge area is relaxing, has a lovely fireplace area to sit around but also a large family dining table, a dartboard, a foozball table and a home cinema area! There’s a vast selection of pots, pans, utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery too, you don’t need to bring anything! Theresa a Nespresso machine for you to buy pods for too. The veranda overlooks the most amazing view of the valley and canal along with the pool area, uninterrupted views with no properties overlooking in any direction. You are hidden away and totally secluded. Sit by the pool, enjoy the view in the sun while the kids play. At the front of the property is a lawned area under mature trees where there’s places to sit and relax, to dine and a brand new Weber BBQ to use. There are three double bedrooms, all spacious and beautifully done, the downstairs floor bedroom has its own shower room with double basin in travertine style. Stunning. There’s also a downstairs toilet. Upstairs the main bedroom has a shower of its own, in lovely tiles, and a separate basin. And a Velux window. There are two more bedrooms, one double one twin. There’s a bathroom to share with a double shower enclosure, spa bath and basin.

We had a superb stay at les Oiseaux de passage. The owners were very welcoming. The whole property is authentic and arty, with an immense park and a pleasant garden. The 3 bedroom house is spacious and has all the facilities you can think of. A generous and delicious breakfast is served in the main property. Then even more magic happened: on short notice, we needed a location for lunch for 30 people. We asked them a suggestion and they offered their service. They made and served a lunch buffet and drinks for 30 people in their garden and main dinning room, food was delicious, wines were well chosen and all our guests were delighted. Thank you.

This is a beautifully equipped apartment. Clean and all provided. I asked for a vacuum cleaner which was left at the doorstep. Very private stay even though right next to the residential house. It's out of the way. Nothing in the town except houses and an old people's home however that's what we wanted, we needed a quiet stay to recoup and rest from city stays so it was good. and its relatively close to some other towns and cities. You can go for walks and have a bit of a view. Supermarket about 7 mins away by car and there you also find a laundromat washing machine. And a great Turkish small restaurant with great food for very good prices. They even shared a little sweet treat with candle there for my birthday 🎈 Just before the roundabout to the supermarket on the other side you will find the most delicious 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 cherries you have ever tasted in your life!! In July this was. We went to beautiful Vezelay - visited the Mary Magdalene basilica. Visited the Caves with prehistoric paintings. We also found a swimming spot nearby a river where you can buy delicious ice-cream.
