An amazing chateau with lots of character, being loving restored by a charming couple. Having arrived late Sunday afternoon, they were kind enough to find us somewhere to eat at short notice! The room was exceptional, overlooking the old church and main square. Very quiet and peaceful with the added bonus of street lights turning off at night. Only sorry we were there for one night. Wonderful breakfast. Definitely worth a second visit. Thank you again!

Everything was perfect lovely hosts and a beautiful, peaceful rural setting with spectacular views, I particularly liked the environmental and low impact considerations from its rain fed natural swimming pool to the breakfast that included home made baguette, roles, jams and fruit they grew from their orchard. The owners, very nice and friendly. The house very nicely furnished and cosy, with of elements country style and some of them from some decades ago, what was great to appreciate. Breakfast was very nice with fresh and natural tasty products. So quiet and peaceful place. Cats were very peaceful and cute.

Where do I begin? The bedroom was huge as was the bed and very comfortable. The bathroom was equally big with two hand basins and a powerful shower. Downstairs, we were made so welcome and enjoyed good breakfasts and good company with the option of using our hosts English language skills or practicing our French on them. Outside, we were invited to use the pool, towels were provided and loungers arranged for us. Afterwards, because we fancied a glass of wine, a table and chairs were provided without being asked. Overall, it was a perfect start to our holiday and my wife and I both wish we had booked for a longer stay.

The hosts were fantastic even though I don’t speak any French and the hosts only have a few words, with the use of google translate they made my stay very comfortable. I also booked the evening meal option and ate with the other guests after an appetitive with the hosts. Food was fantastic. I can definitely recommend but would be better if you can speak a little French as the hosts deserve it.
