This is one of the best places we have stayed while visiting Normandy and Bretagne. I wish we could spend 2 nights at this place. Madame Christine is such a wonderful host. The breakfast was delicious. We got a room upgrade. I am so thankful we found this place. Strongly recommend. You need a car as the place is in the middle of the forest.

Very nice hosts with a lot of sightseeing tips, english and french speaking. The house is beautiful and there is a cute host dog entertaining you aswell. The breakfast was of good quality.

    Dinner in the evening was fabulous. The dishes were all cooked to a really high standard and were fantastic. Attention to detail and superb waiting staff in that perfect french fashion. Even the breakfast the next day was elegant! We had a superior room at the back so couldn't hear any noise. It was very clean, spacious and quiet. Staff were all very efficent but the star was the food - truly delicious.

    The pictures of this property undersell, how beautiful this property is. It is in a lovely quite rural location, but the nearest village is only a short drive less than 10 minutes, which has a great little supermarket and wonderful bakery. When not relaxing at property in a lovely pool, we explored the local area, lots of great restaurants recommendations provided and did a day trip to Mont Saint Michel about 1 hour away. Would 100% recommend and hope to return at some stage.

    Location was perfect for us, friends living close by, so booked for that reason. That said, what a find, lovely place and staff at the Auberge de L’abbaye. Staff amazingly hard working, from breakfast to night closing. Breakfast great.

    La Ripaudiere was perfect in every way! Location was peaceful and quiet, accommodation was extremely clean, tidy and had everything you would need for the perfect holiday. Nicky and Patrick welcomed us, showed us round the house and provided all the local information. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were used extensively over the two weeks stay and was a nice way to finish off after a busy day site seeing.
